The year has started with a buzz! We were truly delighted to have been nominated in the New York Women's Independent Film Festival! They told us "We’re delighted to inform you that your film has been nominated for an award at this year’s New York Independent Women Film Festival. Your work stood out among numerous submissions, and we sincerely commend you for this artistic achievement."
And we have decided that Invisible Women is not over. We plan to extend the scope of the project and in Phase II feature enterprising and creative women in all other aspects of filmmaking, from directors and cinematographers to A.D.s and composers, documentary makers, designers...

We are delighted to find that the early responses we are getting show that our feature documentary has just as much appeal to the average film-goer who have never thought about film editing before, to seasoned professionals and academics. One of the former group said “I absolutely loved watching the film … I’ve learned so much about a topic I knew nothing about”. An independent film editor said “Fabulous work, really well made, and fascinating”. And a lecturer at the National Film and Television School told us “Every filmmaker should watch this"!
August 2025
We have entered Invisible Women into the London Independent Film Festival and the Sundance Film Festival.

May 2024.
Our final two films, on Anne Coates and Emma Hickox, are completed, and the feature film version is now well in production. Paul Rogers, Oscar- and BAFTA-winning editor of 'Everything Everywhere All At Once' was kind enough to report that 'it turned out wonderful'!
We'd also like to thank Renée at the BFE for inviting us to a special screening of 'Saltburn' before Christmas, featuring a Q&A with the great Victoria Boydell.
